Kibbeh bi Laban
About the Recipe
Enjoy one of our staples in this signature Lebanese dish, Kibbeh bi Laban (Kibbeh with cooked yogurt).
5 cups plain yogurt
2 cups water
2 tbs cornflour
1 egg white (optional)
2 tsp salt
2 tsp crushed dried mint
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp butter
Cooked Yogurt Prep
Preheat the oven to 410°F/210°C, and prepare the Meat Kibbeh with Beef Meat Mix as per cooking instructions on the box.
Place yogurt in large, heavy pan and stir until smooth.
Blend cornflour into water, then add the yogurt with the egg white and salt until thickened.
Fry crushed garlic with salt and dried mint for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the garlic mixture into the yogurt, then add the Meat Kibbeh.
Serve hot with rice.
